The MGB with the 1800cc engine was made as a two-door sports car (1962-1980) and as a three-door MGB GT (1965-1980). Over the years, the engine was modified in various ways, such as the compression ratio and different carburettors. The Lucas types 25D4 and later the 45D4 were used and also with different advance curves. The CSI ignition for the MGA/B has 16 different advance curves for all those modified engines. USAGE: Select one of the 16 pre-programmed advance curves. All you need to do is remove the distributor cap, and you can choose from 16 different positions using a small screwdriver.
