Standard CSI ignition for your MG Midget or Triumph Spitfire, 1500 CC, Negative earth, Lucas distributor 45D4. The Triumph Spitfire is a sports car built from 1962 to 1980 and were fitted with different types of ignition. For the MK I, II, III and IV (1962 to 1974) with a mechanical tachometer drive. For the Spitfire 1500 (from 1974 to 1980) the Lucas 45D4 i.c.w. an electronic tachometer. CSI Standard: MK I, II, III, IV with 16 curves , for mechanical tachometer. CSI Standard: MK V 1500, with 16 curves, for electronic tachometer. USAGE: Select one of the 16 pre-programmed advance curves. All you need to do is remove the distributor cap, and you can choose from 16 different positions using a small screwdriver.
